Our Values

We believe there is one true God as revealed in the Bible, eternally existent in three persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. We believe the Father is the first Person of the Godhead, and he has been revealed to us through his Son Jesus. We believe in the resurrection of the dead and eternal life through Christ Jesus for all those who receive him as their Savior and Lord. We believe we are saved from sin and eternal separation from God by God’s grace alone through faith in Jesus’ redemptive work on the cross. Yet for us there is but one God, the Father,  from whom all things came and for whom we live; and there is but one Lord, Jesus Christ, through whom all things came and through whom we live. (1 Cor. 8:6) “Yet a time is coming, and has now come when the true worshipers will worship the Father in spirit and truth, for they are the kind of worshipers the Father seeks. God is spirit and his worshipers must worship in spirit and in truth.” (John 4:23 & 24)

We believe Jesus is the Savior of the World, the second Person of the Godhead and the only begotten Son of God. No one has ever seen God, but God the One and Only, who is at the Father’s side, has made him known. (John 1:18)Philip said, “Lord, show us the Father and that will be enough for us.” Jesus answered, “Don’t you know me, Philip, even after I have been among you such a long time? Anyone who has seen me has seen the Father. How can you say, ‘Show us the Father?’ Don’t you believe that I am in the Father, and that the Father is in me? The words I say to you are not just my own. Rather, it is the Father, living in me, who is doing his work. (John 14:9&10) Jesus is the radiance of God’s glory and the exact representation of his being, sustaining all things by his powerful word. (Heb. 1:3)

We believe the Holy Spirit is the third Person of the Godhead. He is God dwelling in the hearts and lives of Christians directing them to obedience. We believe Jesus rose from the dead and lives today, guiding and directing our lives by the Holy Spirit. If you love me, you will obey what I command. And I will ask the Father and he will give you another Counselor to be with you forever, the Spirit of truth. The world cannot accept him, because it neither sees him nor knows him. But you know him, for he lives with you and will be in you. I will not leave you as orphans; I will come to you. (John 14: 15-18)Now the Lord is the Spirit and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is freedom. And we, who with unveiled faces all reflect the Lord’s glory, are being transformed into his likeness with ever increasing glory, which comes from the Lord, who is the Spirit . (2Cor. 3: 17 & 18)

We believe the Bible is the complete revealed word of God: inspired, inerrant and infallible. God is not a man, that He should lie, nor a son of man, that He should repent. Has He said and will He not do? Or has He spoken, and will He not make it good? (Num. 23:19) Sanctify them by the truth; your word is truth. (John 17:17) All Scripture is God-breathed and is useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting and training in righteousness, so that the servant of God may be thoroughly equipped for every good work. (2 Tim 3:16-17) As believers we do his will here on earth through the power and guidance of the Holy Spirit and adherence to the Bible.
