We had a four-day Mission trip to Sweetwater, AZ, at Immanuel Mission in August 2021, where we presented three days of musicals and helped with several projects at the mission. We did ‘Jesus, Light of the World’, our most recent musical, breaking it into three performances. Our team of 27 members, plus 5 locals, did a wonderful job! Just as we were setting up for the first night all the electricity went out, we prayed and kept working, just as the audience was coming in the door the electricity came on and everything worked wonderfully. The Lord is so good! Our people never got discouraged but fully trusted the Lord to bring about what he called us to do, and we had several decisions made for Jesus! The men on our team worked on vehicles for the local community and poured cement. Our ladies helped clean up some houses that had been damaged by recent rains. Some of these traditional homes have mud roofs! The many children we had in the cast pulled weeds, cleaned up the mission campus, and played with the mission kids, bringing joy to everyone. Some members came to help feed the mission staff and our cast and crew. Our generous donors provided food for all four days.
